Lars Milz

Software engineer, dad, physics nerd.

I'm Lars. By day I write power electronics control software for electric cars at CARIAD. By night I make LEDs blink, write bare metal C, and try to convince Bazel to build for microcontrollers. Running CachyOS, this month at least.

On this blog I write the posts I wish I had found five years ago: clean architecture on microcontrollers instead of spaghetti C, testing embedded code without flashing hardware every time, and why "it works" is not a quality standard. Less LinkedIn post, more lab notebook.
